Definitions

  1. Credit

A counter that keeps track of hours logged across tasks with different weights. The goal of the credits is to simplify pricing so that you aren’t charged different rates for different tasks at the time of purchase.

  1. Cycle

A period of a month. Your first cycle starts the day you subscribe to a plan.

  1. Billing Option

The frequency at which you are billed for your plan. Billing periods with a longer commitment earn you discounts on monthly credits and additional credits. The length of a cycle remains the same regardless of your billing option.

Understanding Plan Benefits:

  1. Additional Credit Price

In addition to the monthly credits that you receive with your subscription, you have the option to purchase additional credits to tackle tasks that exceed the monthly quota. The price of additional credits is determined by your plan and billing cycle. If you would like to purchase additional credits, please reach out to your account manager and they will guide you regarding the recommended amount of credits and purchase method.

  1. Credit Rollover

You may sometimes end a cycle with all outstanding tasks completed and an excess of credits. In that case, some of the credits can roll over to the following cycle. The number of credits that can roll over is determined by your plan. Please note that rollover credits can not accumulate from month to month, so for example if you have the Pro plan, you cannot start a month with more than 14 credits (10 monthly credits + 4 rollover credits). There are two exceptions to this:

  1. If the excess of credits was due to delays on the part of the team (and not a lack of tasks).
  2. If additional credits were purchased during the cycle.

In both of the cases above there is no limit to the number of credits that roll over.

  1. Open tasks

This is the number of tasks that can be worked on simultaneously by the team at any point in time. The goal of limiting open tasks is to help prioritize and manage to the work on the project. Tasks may vary in size and it can sometimes be a challenge to determine what counts as a single task. Some of our criteria are:

  1. Are the tasks on the same page?
