Delivery Date is an app for collecting delivery date (and time) data regarding a cart, checkout, and finally order. This is a critical feature for many businesses that Wix doesn’t support out of the box. Customizations tend to be cumbersome or clucky not fitting seamlessly into the flow of the native Wix checkout. With the Delivery Date app you get everything you need for a eCommerce scheduled delivery experience with no to little code needed.
v2 - version 2.1 of the app introduces:
- 30 timeout for delivery dates - meaning if more than 30 minutes pass between the last change to either the delivery date or time it will expire and the user will need to select again.
- Change to how the ISO dates are determined -this is a bug fix that should remedy inaccuracies in the displayed date and blocked dates (especially in Eastern time zones).

Installation
The Delivery Date app can be installed on your site both as widgets and checkout page plugins.
Widgets
The app has two widgets:
- Delivery Date Picker - allows the user to select a delivery date and time for the current cart.
- Delivery Date Display - allows the user to view the selected delivery date and time for the current cart.
- These two widgets can be installed on any page of your site from the ‘+ Add Elements’ menu.
Wix Studio Widget Installation
- Each widget has two presets - horizontal (date and time are side by side) and vertical (date and time are stacked with date on top). Switching between presets is done differently depending on the editor - you can learn more here.
- The widgets can be redesigned to match the theme of your website.
- You can install as many instances of the widgets as you want on your site. They will all be linked to the same record based on the current cart.
